We are a Lincoln and Omaha based band called “The Yes, Ands” and we invite you to join us for an evening of music and awareness.

We will premier our music video “I’m Not Fine,” a song featuring the vocal talents of Mona Reeves. “I’m Not Fine” is a song that seeks to highlight the richness of cross-cultural friendship and collaboration. The music video, produced and directed by Jordan Riggs and Wyn Wiley, expounds on these themes, bringing in faces from the Lincoln area who represent the beauty of diversity.

We want to continue the conversations that have developed around this song, conversations that ask us to fearlessly face reality and reach out in faith toward those we don’t understand. We have also invited key members of the Lincoln community to join us and host a panel discussion about the realities of racial separation and inequality in our city.

Following the music video and the panel, we will be showing the documentary “I Am Not Your Negro,” an eloquent and searing portrayal of the history of the African American experience in America. You won’t leave the theater the same person. Let’s build bridges.
