MOON OVER ABURI (2022, 20 minutes, Directed by Sheila Nortley, screenplay by Kwame Dawes)
A male stranger locates a woman in Ghana – the pair unfurling a shared story from different viewpoints. For one a mission, the other a secret. Through male and female eyes, we see that societal pressures continue to ripple through childhood and beyond.
