Why BECOME A SPONSOR of the ross?
The Mary Riepma Ross Media Arts Center is Lincoln’s only independent film theater, bringing the best of cinema to our city. A sponsorship for The Ross makes it possible to not only to screen films—contemporary indies, beloved classics, avant-garde flicks, and more—but also allows us to offer thing like free admission to families during our annual summertime Family Film Fest, giving the next generation an opportunity to enjoy the magic of cinema at no burden to parents.
Sponsorships also support the Norman A. Geske Cinema Showcase, Lincoln’s connection point to the larger world of filmmaking. Over the past 50 years, the Geske Showcase has brought over 275 film professionals—directors, producers, actors, and cinematographers—to Lincoln, where they can accompany screenings of their films and meet with students at Lincoln Public Schools, the University of Nebaska-Lincoln, and other community groups, bringing global cinema right to our doorstep.
