When you join Friends of The Ross, you will receive two or more complimentary passes (depending on your membership level), a year of discounted admission to Ross films and events, discounted popcorn at the concessions stand, a punch card which earns you free popcorn and movies, and invitations to special Friends events. Friends memberships are tax deductible and a great value for cinema fans.
WHY JOIN THE FRIENDS?
Friends funding is vital to the life of The Ross and makes it possible to continue bringing award-winning independent, documentary, and international films to Lincoln. Friends support great Ross events including The Met: Live in HD, National Theatre Live, Movie Talks with knowledgeable guest speakers, The Norman A. Geske Cinema Showcase, and other special screenings.
When you JOIN, RENEW, OR UPGRADE DURING THE SPRING MEMBERSHIP DRIVE you’re eligible to WIN PASSES GOOD FOR UNLIMITED ADMISSION FOR A YEAR (for two people)! To join The Friends or to renew your membership, pick up a membership form in the Ross lobby or visit our membership page and submit your membership online.
ALREADY A FRIENDS MEMBER?
Refer a new member during the membership drive and you will get two complimentary passes (per referral). The more members you refer the more chances you have to win.
Renewing during the drive will grant you a year of membership past your current expiration date, so you can renew your membership even if it isn’t due to expire.

As a special incentive during the Spring Membership Drive, The Friends are offering a discounted membership rate to UNL FACULTY/STAFF:

– $55 Family MembershipÂ
To take advantage of this discount, please download the Faculty/Staff membership form or fill one out in the Ross lobby (this discount is not available online) and mail/return to the Ross offices.
