FAMILY FILM FEST 2026

Join us on Saturday mornings at 11am for free family-friendly films at The Ross! Now in its third year, Family Film Fest brings the magic of movies to film lovers of all ages and provides a free, fun activity for the whole family.

Our 2026 festival includes the 1939 classic The Wizard of Oz: animated favorites Ferngully: The Last Rainforest, Coco, and KPOP Demon Hunters; the uplifting drama Queen of Katwe; and beloved comedies The Muppet Movie, The Princess Bride, and Peewee’s Big Adventure. Some of this year’s films are best for older kids and teens so be sure to review the film content information if you are bringing younger film fans.

Family Film Fest tickets are available at the Ross box office the day of the show (not available online). Children must be accompanied by an adult. There will not be a FFF screening on Saturday, July 4 due to the holiday.

History

Started in 2024, Family Film Fest at The Ross brings big-screen adventures to movie fans of all ages. The inaugural festival featured Wolfwalkers, A Cat in Paris, The Iron Giant, and Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the WereRabbit. In 2025, the festival expanded to 8 films, and free admission became possible thanks to a generous grant from the Nebraska Arts Council.
