Ross Fright Fest returns with a month of horror films on the big screen! Presented with support from Friends of The Ross, our fourth annual festival features even more spooky, campy, scary, and thrilling movies for the Halloween season.
CLASSIC FILM WEEK
This year’s festival includes a special week of classic horror films featuring Little Shop of Horrors (1960), House of Wax (1953), The Haunting (1963), Eyes Without a Face (1960), Psycho (1960), and The Shining (1980).
STUDENT NIGHT VIEWERS CHOICE
Thank you to everyone who voted for this year’s Fright Fest Viewer’s Choice! The votes for the top films were so close that we’ll be showing both Leviticus (2026) and It Follows (2014) on October 21 for Student Night.
TICKETS
General Admission $10 / Friends Members $5 / UNL Students $5. Tickets are now available online and at the Ross Box Office.
*Admission to AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN PARIS is FREE for Friends members as part of the FRIENDS 45 series.
*Admission to LEVITICUS and IT FOLLOWS on Wednesday, October 21 is $1 for students as part of STUDENT NIGHT. $1 Student Night tickets available at the Ross Box Office (not available online).
2026 FESTIVAL PASS
With our expanded Fright Fest schedule, we’ll be offering a special FESTIVAL PASS for discounted admission to 5 films of your choice. General Admission passes are $40 (a $50 value) and passes for Members and UNL students are $20 (a $25 value). Planning on seeing lots of Fright Fest movies? You are welcome to buy multiple passes to use throughout the month. Festival passes are now available to purchase online and at the Ross Box Office.
When purchasing a festival pass online, please bring your confirmation email (printed or on your phone) so it can be scanned at the box office.
