Join us in celebrating the 45th anniversary of Friends of The Ross with special screenings of movies released in 1981. Admission for these screenings is FREE for current Friends of The Ross members, $10 for general admission, and $5 for UNL students. More films and information coming soon!

The Friends of The Ross is the non-profit arm of The Ross Media Arts Center, and Lincoln’s foremost community of movie lovers. Since 1981, the Friends of The Ross have kept the silver screen glowing with the very best in cinema, and promoted film culture in our community. In recent years, generous support from the Friends has made it possible to run beloved film series like the annual Fright Fest, our summertime Family Film Fest, and our ongoing Native American Film Series.

The Friends also sponsor the Norman A. Geske Cinema Showcase, which brings working filmmakers to Lincoln—including directors, screenwriters, actors, cinematographers, producers, and composers—where they can showcase their work and draw our community a little closer to the world of cinema.
