MARK YOUR CALENDARS! On GIVE TO LINCOLN DAY, donations to local nonprofits go even further thanks to matching funds from the Lincoln Community Foundation! Funds raised for Friends of The Ross help support film festivals, movie talks, and The Norman A. Geske Cinema Showcase bringing visiting filmmakers to Lincoln. These programs enrich, entertain, and challenge our community in ways that only cinema can. 

Please note: Due to restrictions on how Give to Lincoln Day funds can be used by participating organizations, donations made during this event can NOT be used as Friends of The Ross memberships or renewals. If you would like to join the Friends, please visit our membership page.

HOW TO DONATE

ONLINE DONATIONS: Donations of $10 or more can be made online any time between May 1 and May 28, 2026.

OFFLINE DONATIONS: For donors who prefer not to pay online, offline donations may be made via check and mailed or hand-deliverd to the Lincoln Community Foundation (215 Centennial Mall S, Ste 100 / Lincoln, NE 68508) or dropped off at presenting sponsor West Gate Bank’s Lincoln branches starting May 1. Checks sent by mail must be postmarked by May 22 and received by May 28. Checks must be written to “Lincoln Community Foundation” with the nonprofit name specified in the memo line (if you are donating to multiple nonprofits, write one check for the total and include a separate list of nonprofits and amounts to each).
