SYNOPSIS
Mr. Andrew Blake (John Malkovich), a recently widowed ultra-successful British businessman, by happenstance takes a job as a butler in a manor house in northern France in a bid to get closer to the memory of his late French wife. His life takes an unexpected turn as he finds himself befriending not only the household staff but the charming lady of the house (Fanny Ardant) as well.
