Film Information

A slapstick epic about a frostbitten battle between a drunken applejack salesman and DIABOLICAL BEAVERS–hundreds of them–who stand between him and survival. In the film, all animals are played by puppets or mascot costumes, resulting in a bizarre concoction that’s part Funniest Home Videos, part Buster Keaton, part Looney Tunes. It has to be seen to be believed.

Reviews

“An unexpected visionary work that will rip you a new perspective on classic cinematic art…exciting in ways you cannot imagine and must be seen to be believed.” -Filmthreat”

Tim Grierson

Los Angeles Times

“It’s been a long time since I was this clueless about what was going to happen next in a film; the feeling was exhilarating.”

Odie Henderson

Boston Globe

“Hundreds of Beavers is an immaculately constructed, gloriously bizarre, wholly unique tribute to that basest of comedy pleasures, made by people whose imagination seemingly knows no bounds.”

Callie Petch

Little White Lies

“You’d do well to satisfy your craving for knockabout lunacy by checking out Hundreds of Beavers , as visionary as any indie in many a moon, and a dam site (ahem) more fun.”

Robert Abele

Los Angeles Times
