Due to its wide open spaces and highways leading every which way Nebraska is an ideal road trip movie location. Filmmaker Stephen Gynberg makes good use of the Sandhills in this tale of disparate strangers whose shared friend Henry dies, setting them off together in order to retrace his path and memorialize his life. Walter (Pruitt Taylor Vance) knew Henry the longest. Eric (Simon Baker) reneged on a pact he made with his late pal. Sam (Jacqueline McKenzie) cared for Henry in his dying days. On the road the trio come to terms with loss, unexpected happenings, loose ends, and what life may bring next.
