The Friends of The Ross are the heart and soul of our theater and if you’ve been thinking about joining or upgrading your membership, the Spring Membership Drive (April 15-May 31) is a great time to do it! In addition to the year-long perks membership – including discounted admission, free tickets, and invitations to special events – all new, renewing, and upgrading members will have a chance to win free Ross movies for a year. Friends funding is vital to the life of The Ross and makes it possible to continue bringing award-winning independent, documentary, and international films to Lincoln. Friends support great Ross events including the Norman A. Geske Cinema Showcase visiting filmmaker program, Ross festivals like MADE IN NEBRASKA and FAMILY FILM FEST, special screenings, performances by The Anvil Orchestra, and more!
Special Spring Drive pricing for UNL Faculty and Staff
As a special incentive during the Spring Membership Drive, The Friends are offering a discounted membership rate to UNL
FACULTY/STAFF:
- $35 for an Individual Membership ($15 savings)
- $55 for a Family Membership ($25 savings).

When the Nebraska heat hits the triple digits, what better place to go than a cool, dark movie theater with other local film fans? We have a great lineup of special events and series coming to The Ross in the summer months, beginning with the return of the MADE IN NEBRASKA series on June 3. Every Wednesday Night in June and July we will be featuring a different movie filmed in the Cornhusker state. Tickets are just $5.
