No Man’s Land Film Festival

Join UNL Outdoor Adventures for the annual showing of the No Man’s Land Film Festival! This film festival showcases short films directed by and highlighting the experiences of women and gender-queer individuals in outdoor adventures.

UNL Outdoor Adventures is passionate and committed to providing outdoor education and experiences to individuals of all identities. You don’t often see these stories in traditional media about the outdoors, adventure and athleticism, so come watch and learn about these experiences through a feminine lens! Doors for this free community event are at 7:00 p.m. and showtime begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets available at the box office the night of the show.

No Man’s Land Film Festival (NMLFF) is a service-minded, community-oriented arts and advocacy nonprofit organization that elevates the voices of women, trans, and genderqueer filmmakers and athletes in adventure, sport, conservation, and film.

Founded in 2015, NMLFF uses storytelling as a tool for cultural change, challenging dominant narratives and expanding who gets to be seen, heard, and celebrated. Through its annual Flagship Festival and global World Tour, No Man’s Land Film Festival fosters community, inspires dialogue, and builds more inclusive and representative spaces in the outdoors and beyond.
